The DEMO on the RF WebLab website has been updated and is functional again. As it performs a measurement after pressing the DEMO button, it is another good indicator to see if WebLab is “up and running”.

The maintenance has been concluded. Unless any issues occur, RF WebLab is available again as normal.

We have reduced the LO leakage from both TX and RX, resulting in a lower dc offset. Note that over time the dc offset tends to increase again. Tomorrow the DUT will be disconnected. As a result, even when RF WebLab seems to be up running; WebLab will not perform your measurement to avoid damaging hardware. Typically you will receive no results or an error message. Moreover, WebLab will remain in maintenance mode until Thursday 18th the latest. If WebLab will be fully available earlier, I will announce this here in the news section as usual.

So far we have replaced two RF cables that showed signs of some damage. These are the cables between the VST transmitter and driver and between driver and DUT. For most experiments this should have no impact.
Furthermore, our connection to the university network has been improved. Most users will not notice this as their dominant delay is typically outside of Chalmers. Local users may see some improvement. Maintenance is still ongoing, primarily on the software side of RF WebLab. So interruptions will still occur.

RF WebLab is down. And as I have no remote access to the system this is most likely network related. As it is the summer holiday, there is currently no estimate when weblab will be available again. I will post updates here.

This week we are performing some maintenance on RF WebLab. WebLab may be offline from time to time and results may differ from normal. It is expected that Sunday June 30th RF WebLab will be back to normal.

Since Friday May 31st, our webhost is enduring network connectivity issues, as well as more recently a DDOS attack. As a result, RF WebLab experiences severe outages. Mostly the system can self-recover. However outages are currently still ongoing (Sunday, June 9th).
